Caribbean Week in New York: Our Partner in Argentina Concluded a Successful Week of Business

Our partner in Argentina, EM Marketing & Communication, participated in Caribbean Week New York 2026, one of the Caribbean tourism industry's leading events. Its participation reinforces LATAMPR's commitment to strengthening strategic relationships, promoting regional collaboration, and supporting new opportunities across the tourism sector.

Strategic partnerships, new connections, and reunions with tourism industry professionals marked the successful participation of EM Marketing & Communication, a LATAMPR partner and allied member of the Caribbean Tourism Organization (CTO), at Caribbean Week in New York City, United States.

Organized by the CTO under the leadership of Secretary-General and CEO Dona Regis-Prosper, Caribbean Week brought together Ministers and Directors of Tourism from different countries, business leaders, and tourism professionals under the theme "One Caribbean: Infinite Experiences."

"Once again, EM was present at one of the major tourism events for the Caribbean and Latin America. It was an honor for us to strengthen existing relationships and build new ones to further expand the promotion of the Caribbean's tourism offerings," said Elsa Petersen, CEO of EM.

The week featured ministerial discussions, a dynamic Caribbean tourism and media marketplace, a marketing conference, a next-generation regional tourism showcase, the Caribbean Media Awards, CTO Foundation scholarships, and the Caribbean Women in Tourism Awards and Gala.

One of the highlights was the launch of the CTO Tourism Product Committee, an initiative aimed at strengthening regional connections, increasing economic retention, and building a more integrated and resilient Caribbean tourism economy.

It is also worth mentioning that the Regional Nex-Gen Tourism Showcase 2026 took place on the fourth and final day of activities. Organized by the CTO, the competition featured students presenting sustainable tourism projects. Turks & Caicos received the Digital Project Award for "Caribbean Blue & Green Economy Hub," while the British Virgin Islands won the overall competition with the project "The Turquoise Experience."

Considering that the United States is the Caribbean's largest source market for tourism, participating in an event held in a city as influential as New York is especially significant. EM was proud to be part of this important regional gathering.
